The 4GB 80 ChildPad 8" Tablet from Archos allows children to learn and explore. This child-friendly tablet supports landscape and portrait modes and has an 8" multi-touch display with a native resolution of 1024 x 768. Processing is handled by a single-core ARM A9 1.0 GHz CPU. A dual-core GPU is integrated for graphics handling. This tablet also has 1GB of memory for multi-tasking and 4GB of flash storage for storing long-term data. Storage capacity is expandable via the tablet's integrated microSD/SDHC slot, which supports FAT32 formatted cards up to 64GB. For high-speed Internet connectivity, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi is built-in. 

The Archos 80 ChildPad has kid-geared content and filtering that allows them to discover child-friendly apps. The built-in Kids Zone application gives children access to apps, games, and learning tools. Parents can also protect web access for a safe Internet browsing experience. 

The tablet's micro-USB 2.0 interface allows you to transfer files between the tablet and other devices. A USB cable is included for connecting the tablet to a computer. USB host functionality is also supported with the use of an optional USB host cable. An optional HDMI cable can be connected to the tablet's HDMI interface for outputting video to an external monitor.
