CUSTOM-MADE ANKLE FOOT ORTHOSIS WITH ANKLE JOINT

Customized AFO with ankle joint allows you to keep your ankle joint mobilized throughout the gait cycle. Allows you to achieve slight plantar flexion as well as full dorsiflexion it helps you to make your gait cycle more likely to achieve normal pattern of walking. It is light weight and gives you freedom to insert in any sports/ formal shoes. Joints are of various range for providing specific function, it varies with the clinical finding of the individuals: 

INDICATIONS:

• Posterior tibial tendon dysfunction

  • Frontal plane instabilities of the subtalar and/or talar joint.

• Weak dorsiflexors / drop foot

  • Tight plantar flexors 

• Cerebral palsy

  • CVA (cerebral vascular accident)

• Peroneal nerve paralysis

  • Knee hyperextension
